Setting up Sonos Integration on Haptique RS90

Connect your Sonos system to the Haptique Config App for seamless playback and volume control.


1 Prerequisites

  • Your phone (running the Haptique Config App) is connected to the Internet.
  • Your Sonos player/speaker is powered on and connected to the same Wi‑Fi/network as your phone.

2 Open Device Pool

  1. Launch the Haptique Config App on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Device Pool tab from the main screen.

3 Add a New Device

  1. Tap the “+” icon on the Device Pool screen.
  2. Scroll to find the Sonos section.
  3. Tap the “+” icon next to the Sonos label.

4 Authenticate with Sonos

  1. Tap Connect to initiate the Sonos authentication process.
  2. A secure web page opens. Log in with your Sonos account credentials.
  3. Tap OK to authorize Haptique to control your Sonos system.
  4. When complete, you’ll see “Sonos is connected.” Tap Go Back to return.

5 Add Sonos Speakers to Haptique

  1. Your connected Sonos system now appears in the app.
  2. Open the Sonos tab to view the device list.
  3. Select the speaker(s) you want Haptique to control.
  4. Tap Add Selected System to finish integration.
  5. Press Back to return to the Device Pool.
Final Configuration

Your Sonos device now appears in the Device Pool. You can rename it, assign it to rooms, and control playback and volume directly from Haptique.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure your Sonos player is powered on and on the same network as your phone.
  • Double‑check your Sonos account credentials during login.
  • Maintain a stable Internet connection throughout authentication.
  • If the device doesn’t appear after login, restart the app and try signing in again.
